Devlog #5: Interactions in Love Quest

Today, let's dive into a cornerstone of Love Quest: A New Dawn—Interactions. These are not just about pushing the story forward; they are the secret sauce that shows character development and relationship progression. Think of them as the delightful breadcrumbs leading you through the emotional and narrative labyrinth of our game.

The Feedback Chronicles

So, I've received some feedback regarding AI and AI-based images. It's nothing I didn't know already. AI images will never hold a candle to artist-produced art. But, as I've explained before, due to financial circumstances, I'm not in a position to hire an artist right now. But getting one? Oh, it's priority number one. Seriously, if I could hire Van Gogh, I'd do it in a heartbeat (well, if he were, you know, alive and accepting commissions).

Embracing the Artist's Journey

But I can't just ignore your feedback, can I? No. So, what have I been doing this past month? Deep diving into the world of drawing, art, and storytelling. Seriously, I'm averaging, like, 4 hours of sleep max. But it's so worth it. Long story short—thanks for the feedback. I'm now able to edit images to insert some of that... soul? Relatability? I can't put my finger on it, but it's different. The characters seem so much more "alive."

Did you know that artists are, like, anatomical experts? I always thought they just, you know, drew. Nah, it's all, like, technical and deliberate. EXPLOSION HANDS ON HEAD 

It's a lot of work! Props to artists, mang! I hope to one day join your ranks.
