Devlog #4: Exciting Updates- Demo Releases Soon!

Hey everyone,

First off, I want to apologize for the radio silence over the past few weeks. I’ve been deep in the trenches, debugging and updating a lot of assets to ensure the best possible experience for you all. Your patience means the world to me, and I’m thrilled to announce that the demo for our game will be released very soon (two weeks tops)!

Here’s what I've been working on, and what you can look forward to experiencing firsthand when playing the demo:

• Substantive Lore Upgrades: Dive deeper into the rich history and intricate details of our world.
• More Flowing and Logical Quests: Enjoy quests that make more sense and flow better with the story.
• Combat System Tweaks: Experience a more balanced and engaging combat system.
• Interactions: Some interactions for Jimin & Amirah are now complete, adding more depth to their characters.
• Restyled Characters: Anja, Jenny, Lucy, Morgan, and Monique have all received a complete makeover.
• Name Change: Ivy has been renamed to Milly.

I'll post some screen grabs in our Discord so that you can get a better idea of what Interactions are.

"Interactions" are a series of images and accompanying text players can scroll through - much like the pages/panels of a comic book.

Interactions unlock as you progress through the game and increase your relationship level with potential love interests. For instance, if you're only "Platonic Friends", good luck getting more than a hug or a friendly chat. But, say, you're "Dating", then you'll be able to ask more intimate questions and/or do more explicit stuff as a couple. Once you're "Married", then your wife will let you do all sorts of naughty things to her, including putting a bun in her oven. Also, certain pieces of Gear will unlock special features. For example, polygamy will only be permitted if Gear requirements are met. In the case of polygamy, your wife and love interest will both need special rings that make them agreeable to sharing Eren.

Love Quest: A New Dawn will focus on Valoria, Eren and his Valorian love interests until all interactable characters have a complete set of Interactions. After that, subsequent chapters (standalone games) will take place in different parts of the vast world in which Lumina and Noctis exist.
