Jimin Kang is a lady affectionately regarded as the Heart of Valoria, and it's easy to see why she is the most popular person in town. Bubbly and personable, people can be forgiven for not knowing that there is so much more than meets the eye. 

Background

Jimin's warm personality and smile hide a turbulent past. As a magic adept, she served in the officer corps and has survived several deployments to the front in the war against Noctis.

Monique is amused whenever she sees Jimin making beverages and bussing tables—a far cry from when Jimin and Monique first met, when Jimin had buried five Noctis companies under a landslide, single-handedly stopping a major offensive.

Motivations

Sick of violence and bloodshed, Jimin started her café to create a sanctuary of calm and comfort. Her café is one of Valoria's most popular spots, known for its welcoming atmosphere, delicious offerings, and gorgeous proprietor.

Personality

Her bubbly nature and infectious laugh have made her famous around town. Despite her cheerfulness, she carries the weight of her past but uses it to empathize deeply with others. She often dreams of finding Mr. Right and having kids. However, her dedication to her work leaves her little time to actively seek out this mystery man.

You couldn't ask for a more loving and doting waifu. Jimin is one of the game's first encounters, and remains a stalwart friend and ally throughout. When you win her affection, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it.

Sexually, she's rather inexperienced. But she's no prude and will be down for whatever, as long as it's with Mr Right.

Pet Peeves

Disrespect, laziness, and messiness. Jimin values hard work, order, and manners. While it takes a lot to upset her, excessive rudeness or disorganization will bring out the worst in her.

Strengths

Jimin is compassionate, resilient, and a highly skilled combatant. While magic is her forte, she is trained in the use of many weapons. Jimin's intellect and empathy make her an invaluable ally and friend. Her skills and ability make her a deadly opponent.

Weaknesses

Jimin suffers from PTSD, which is managed carefully by her doctor and friend, Kim. Jimin is also overprotective and a perfectionist. Her desire to help others means she will compromise herself for them, often exacerbating her PTSD. She also has a habit of overworking, which Kim speculates she does to distract herself from her trauma and invasive thoughts. Whatever the reason, it often leads to burnout.

Relationships

Jimin tries to be a friend to all. However, her best friends are Kim and Monique, with unbreakable bonds forged as comrades, each having saved the other on numerous occasions. This trinity of storied combatants contributes significantly to Valoria's security, as all have reputations that precede them.
